ABOUT
Our Story
The Hampshire Festival of Dance is run by Charlotte Forster, Gemma McDonagh, and Laura Amer, and it is a festival that is very close to our hearts. What began as a small novice dance competition has grown year after year, alongside the dancers who have been part of the journey with us.
This year, we are incredibly proud to be an All England qualifying competition for the first time. Even as we grow, we are passionate about keeping our novice sections, as we believe every dancer deserves a supportive and positive first experience on stage. Whether it’s your very first competition or you are a seasoned performer, our festival is a place for everyone.
Our aim has always been to create a friendly, welcoming environment with a real family feel — a place where dancers, teachers, and families feel encouraged, supported, and celebrated. Thank you for being part of the Hampshire Festival of Dance and for helping us continue to grow together.
